I got here from a referral on “Peaky Blinders”. Binged watched all 5 seasons. After the first few episodes, everyone found their footing and made a strong, well-written, well-portrayed series. I thoroughly enjoyed it and can highly recommend it. 8/10
penny is great this show is a little the same only not the horrors with it,lol.
If you’re looking for intense and gritty period crime drama, look no further!
This crime thriller is set in ithe late 1800s England, just after the horrors of Jack the Ripper are waning and criminal investigation methods are evolving, and a new age is dawning.
Thank you
you’re welcome!
Have a look at “Dickensian” if you’re interested in period drama.
I learned something today about Matthew MacFadyen (I first took note of him in this drama), he is married to Keeley Hawes (another great British actor) and they worked together on Spooks. I am looking forward to seeing him in Deadpool & Wolverine. I really couldn’t get into Succession, so I’ve not seen him in that HBO show.
I loved this show but wanted something else to happened at the end of it
