Really excellent adaptation of the Shakespeare play & well worth your time even if you think The Bard is not for you. An incredible cast starring incredible performances by Denzel Washington, Frances McDormand & many others. The production design is gorgeous too. Joel Coen of Coen Brothers fame (Raising Arizona, O Brother Where Art Thou, etc) breaks out on his own to direct this w/resounding success. I believe Oscar will be visiting this movie many times in the months ahead.
Do not watch this knowing nothing about Macbeth. hell dont even watch it at all if youre obsessed with superhero shit.This is the perfect adaption of Macbeth. have a good day

Stunning cinematography. It looked like a gelatin silver print come to life. Amazing performances from most of the cast, especially Kathryn Hunter (!!!), Bertie Carvel, Frances McDormand and Denzel Washington. If you can see it on the big screen, I highly recommend it!
