This met my expectations and was hoping for more Marvel Easter eggs because I’m not a huge Black Widow fan. It’s just your typical assassin/spy action movie which is still good, but we want more coming from MCU. I’m just happy she finally got her own solo movie, it took way too long to come out.

I just love watching Scarlett Johansson kickass and this was nonstop action throughout. I will admit that a lot of the major scenes were spoiled in the trailers and I didn’t feel like there was a lot of new unique moments with fight scenes. Not the best MCU movie, but a good origin story.
4/5 maybe 3.5/5 it was a good movie. nothing shocking or outstanding but by itself, a good movie for a one time watch. action was very constant, fight scenes were marvel quality and the acting was good. nothing super great, but i absolutely enjoyed it. the cliffhanger after credits is also really good.

That was Iron Maiden. lol I refuse to call her Taskmaster. It didn’t even look like Taskmaster. Disney’s gonna have to retcon it later like Fox did with X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

This could really screw things up for Tasky appearing in a Deadpool film unless Reynolds is the one to retcon it and they actually let him. Like, seriously, Iron maiden is a legit character, why not just call Melina that? Why does Earth-19999 have to deviate from Earth-616 so much? This woulda been a GREAT movie otherwise.
Because the writers in hollywood don’t know how to appeal to the actual fandom of the original characters. The screwed up so badly on several of the MCU movies like daredevil and ghost rider, not to mention the punisher movie, hell the netflix series were better when it was the DD and the punisher series. And those stories didn’t have to screw up anything, I mean really? Tasky took a corrupted version of the super soldier serum and thats what enhanced his abilities even more it wasn’t anything like the movie. But you’re absolutely correct, it would have been a great movie if they would have added that in instead of the garbage they threw together for that character. And changing the character into a woman? no Taskmaster always tested himself against the avengers, he intentionally fought steve and tony one on one to see how he progressed but still they had to go screw that up.

I kinda liked the original Dolph Lundgren punisher and the one with Ray Stevenson. But the one with Travolta as the bad guy was no good. Also, every Incredible Hulk movie they made was crap. lol Even Ed Norton complained.
As I said they’ve screwed up so badly on several of the MCU movies it’s absolutely ridiculous, they leave out so much vital information when it comes to character it completely destroys the origin of those characters in the movies. As for the Hulk movie I like the one with Eric Bana at least it demonstrated how powerful the hulk actually is now for the punisher movie with Travolta as the bad guy, yes it absolutely sucked.

This movie wasn’t trash, but not good either… The family dynamic (which was most of the movie) failed to deliver any real emotional connection and just felt flat. very little action and the the action that was there was blah… Overall a 2/5

One of the best solo films in the MCU. My expectations weren’t high after all the delays (except for the acting since Rachel Weisz and Florence Pugh are amazing actors and I knew they would deliver), but I was very pleasantly surprised. Loved the dynamics between the characters, script was solid, action and fight scenes were very well choreographed and executed, and enjoyed the original soundtrack as well. I liked what they did with the Taskmaster too, it fit the story. They did Natasha justice, I wish they would’ve made this film sooner.
You do know this is a prequel from before Infinity War and Black Widow deserved a movie for a long time now. Also, she wasn’t erased from existence but just sacrificed her life to get the soul stone which is only obtained when losing a loved one. Both Gamora and Black Widow did this in Infinity War and Endgame, people very much remembered them with Starlord and Hawkeye going hard to avenge them.

Marvel already had plans for these movies for over 2 decades now and you should be looking at Disney who bought Marvel and Star Wars for a huge money grab. I don’t think you understand the entertainment business since that’s their main goal to make MONEY!!!

I had no idea there is a marvel black widow but I am glad they made a movie about it because I really liked it. They also left open a ton of potential sequels if they want because of how it ended. The action and fight scenes are worth watching and I was surprised to see the movie was over 2 hours long. It didn’t even seem like it. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over. If you are planning on watching it, Enjoy!

Wait, how did you not know about Black Widow when she’s been in a bunch of other movies?? You do know this is apart of the MCU and technically a prequel from just before Infinity War. I don’t know why you’re talking about potential sequels when all of these Marvel movies and shows are connected.
I was never a marvel fan until all of these movies started coming out so I haven’t read the comics. However, since they first started coming out with the tv shows and movies, I haven’t been able to get enough of them. I haven’t seen all of the other movies yet so I will be looking for her! Love all of the marvel comic shows I have seen so far and don’t think I’ve watched a single one that wasn’t good.
This is female empowerment at its best! Great action scenes, acting was good and the comedic banter between the family members provided a lift. If you’re an MCU fan, you can’t go wrong. I’m going to watch it again to make sure I caught all of the funny bits in the dialogue.
I don’t know, for me this movie was just fine, I mean it wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great, it was kind of just fine. It felt like something was missing, some aspect but I’m not sure what, maybe excitement.

For me there was nothing that stood out as being a wow or awesome(other then Scarlett’s many booty shots)moment. Still worth the watch and I loved the multiple gratuitous Scarlett Jo almost anime style booty camera angels.

Wow what a disappointing letdown of a movie. Thanks to the wonderful people of Primewire, I saved money not going to the movies and seeing this atrocity!!!!! They ruined Taskmaster🤬This made WW1984 look like a masterpiece😂 Just my opinion🤷🏾♂️

However, her harrowing journey left her with significant physical and mental scars and she lives under constant threat of reprisal by the ABT.”
To each their own. I’m like that with some shows. Everyone loves it and I can’t get past 20 mins. You did miss out on some pretty good fight choreography
lol I legitimately couldn’t finish this movie. It’s not terrible! Not at all! It just… wasn’t very good, either. Was so bored 3/4th of the way through the movie, I had to go do something else. Probably fine for a one-time watch. If you can get through all of it!

They changed my favorite character from the comic books to adapt this to the movie, kind’a aggravated about that. But overall a pretty decent movie.
NGL this version of task master was… different, not what I expected or really wanted.
