Honestly. To someone that read the series as they were released, the big budget ones were irritating. The stories laid out in the books were perfect and hollywood made up their own crap. This on the other hand played out like the comics did and it was amazing for it. No it is not some big budget extravaganza but hellboy is better off as a slice of indie pie with practical effects, good story and atmosphere.

very different, original and the overall visual is presented as an art piece;not for weak stomachs.At times, it almost looked like a MTV video parody but the theme ahem..glistening throughout was too glaring to miss.Kudos to Moore for doing this(you’ll understand why when you watch it).

Introduced by my daughter who spent 6 months as an exchange student in Tokyo - absolutely fell in love with this whole Ghibil genre. Just adorable. And agree, must be watched with subtitles to truly experience.

This one is a typical “Found Footage” type movie, if you like that type of Genre? You will probably like this one. It has a pretty good idea/plotline/story to it. It’s typical of the “Found Footage/Mockumentaries” where there is a set up, lots of talking, interspersed with a few attention grabbing parts, followed by more talking and then…a fairly decent/cool ending.

Colin Farrell is good. The prosthetics are cumbersome, but his accent and depiction is nothing short of phenomenal. I’m not sure about the script; it’s a bit predictable and sedate, and not comic style. On another note, other actors have actually transformed without prosthetics; Charlize Theron, Robert Deniro, etc. Farrell has always been a proficient “evil entity” . I’ll wait to give an authentic rating until all the episodes drop. Worth a watch for certain!

For those who think this is a disney…either you should revisit your disney’s either you live in your own disney world…the only thing pixar did was, to approach disney for subs for western release… Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki don’t have anything to do with Disney… Btw…dubbing this movie was the most disgraceful thing they could have done to it…just try to live with subs, for brain sakes…

From what I remember from the other circle seasons everyone mostly played nice and it was too friendly. This season people are making up lies and messing with people a lot it’s so fun to watch. When I go back and watch season 6 I hope it’s like this.

It’s one of the few “Found Footage” type movies I actually like. Yes, just like with others of the genre it starts off good, gets a bit slow/a bit of drag in the middle, but the third half of the story and the ending are pretty good..imho
