Briliant, wow well done,
Absolutely terrifying. What heroes some were.
I thought I knew virtually every detail of the Chernobyl disaster. But this show proved me wrong. Excellent production values and acting. Very realistic, you feel like you’re there: in a nuclear disaster!
amazing finale, and the statistical break down and stories of many of the characters at the end was, well, heart wrenching
I tell ya this, there’s no way, Jose, that you’d ever get me down in that cellar. Call me Mr Chicken but at least I wouldn’t be one skewed on the rotisserie lol… good stuff so far. I remember how much trouble they had getting to pouring concrete (mega tons) but I never knew they threw ppl to the wolves so they could do it…dyamn!
Wow! Excellent beginning. I can’t wait for more. This really sets the mood and makes me feel as though I’m right there
Really great so far!
What is terrifying is how wicked so much of mankind is and that humanlife, to those who wear the crown of “power” means nothing. Wonderfully done series and full of images of the depravity that we all continue to slip into .
I may have to watch this. There is a nuclear power plant in my state, and I remember being a bit nervous after Chernobyl. I knew there was one about a 3-hour drive from my hometown but knew the fallout would drift to the east and not to the northwest corner of the state where I lived. The plant is located nearly in the center of the state. I also remember my parents being nervous during the Cuban missile crisis and how close we came to a nuclear war with Russia!
There are some dramatic licenses taken, but overall, this is an excellent treatment of the whole fiasco. I highly recommend watching the series.
