Will miss Helen McCory. She was superb actress and I didn’t know she was young. Wonder how Peaky Blinders will be without her. This show has been top notch so far!

Season 6 Latest News. As of 09/17/2020, according to express.co.uk, “The sixth season of Peaky Blinders has not yet been given an official release date on the BBC. When season five came out back in August 2019, it was suggested by the show’s director Anthony Byrne the new series would be out in early 2021.”

1920’s setting and modern music. You wouldn’t think so, but it works so well.
Creator Steven Knight confirmed that in place of a seventh season, they’re making a Peaky Blinders movie. No word on when production will start but good to know there is a plan to make a movie.
Movie conclusions or TV shows are usually terrible.
Criminally under-rated television show. Great soundtrack, story with crazy twist and violence. More people should check this one out, by order of the Peaky Blinders!

I would like to point EVERYONE to this 4 Season series. I was ill a few years ago and basically binge watched everything I could get my hands on. What a wonderful escape -“Peaky Blinders”. I rate it right behind “Justified” {9.8/10) and before “Deadwood” (9/10). You’re Welcome in advance. Watch it now! Rumor has it that a Season 5 is in the works. 9.7/10

I agree Deadwood is perhaps the best TV series ever produced. It is perfect in every way. Outstanding cast, incredible writing, remarkable set with hundreds of extras, a brilliant story based on true life events and excellent directing. It definitely sets the standard by which TV and cinema needs to strive for. Thank you David Miltch for such a monumental production all around. Boo hiss HBO for canceling it! Hoping the movies are just as epic.
I hear there is a “Deadwood” movie in the works, even as I speak, with almost all of the original cast. It cannot help but be GREAT. I am sooooo ready.

Some good news…Peaky Blinders is reportedly getting two spin-off series by Netflix. The first spin-off of the highly acclaimed series will transport audiences to 20th-century Boston. It will delve into the aftermath of the Shelby family’s business ventures, which take place decades, after the events depicted in the original series. The second spin-off will be centered around the Shelby family matriarch Polly Gray (played by the late Helen McCrory). The series affords scope to examine Polly’s character more closely. It may perhaps focus on her earlier life or continue her story with a different actress playing her.

It has been confirmed! Production for the film is slated to begin later this year, with a script penned by the show’s creator, Steven Knight. The announcement marks the first official confirmation with a studio greenlight, bringing excitement to fans who have eagerly awaited the continuation of Tommy Shelby’s story. Cillian Murphy expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn’t finished with me…It is very gratifying to be re-collaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of ‘Peaky Blinders.’ This is one for the fans.”
An update worth taking note of: March 2024, Knight shed some light on the project that’s bound to get fans excited. Per the creator, newly-minted Oscar winner Cillian Murphy will be returning for the film. Knight shared that Murphy “definitely is returning for it.” He further added to the anticipation, saying, “We’re shooting it in September 2024. It now seems likely that the movie itself wouldn’t hit screens until 2025 at the earliest, but thus far no official dates have been announced.

On 18 January the BBC not only announced that the sixth season of the show had returned to production, but also that it would be the very last. Creator Steven Knight said: “Peaky is back and with a bang. And, there is this…..Peaky Blinders season six is likely to premiere by late 2021 or early next year as the production for the latest season has been wrapped up. According to Director Anthony Byrne, the editing part of season six will take a couple of months more.
Where is season 5 episode 1, it aired Sunday July 28th.
Season 4 was garbage but then season 5 was pretty great.

Absolutely. Why they were targeted PW and not many others is beggars belief. I am heartbroken but to get angry with them serves no purpose. Be angry at the establishment for heaven sake. I’m hoping with some time and patients we can all get this site to where it was.
