Inspired by actual events, when high school football hero, decorated policeman's son and convicted drug dealer Jimmy Keene is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison, he is given the choice of a lifetime — enter a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane and befriend suspected serial killer Larry Hall, or stay where he is and serve his full sentence with no possibility of parole. Keene quickly realizes his only way out is to elicit a confession and find out where the bodies of several young girls are buried before Hall's appeal goes through. But is this suspected killer telling the truth? Or is it just another tale from a serial liar? |

I first took note of Taron Egerton in a British drama The Smoke. A rather good British actor and he’s making a name for himself. And my, oh my, the list of great actors he’s worked with is awesome. Ray Liotta, Michael Caine, Samuel L. Jackson, Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, Jaime Foxx, Greg Kinnear and I’m sure he’s learned a lot from each. Just sad that this was Ray’s last gig but at least we have some fine movies/tv series to watch and rewatch that he was in. So far, I like what I’ve seen in this new crime drama.

Excellent! Apple + Really knows how to make some shows! Well done and wow, I had no idea of this crime. RIP Mr. Liotta. You went out doing your thing and I for one, was certainly entertained. You will be missed.
