Snoops right . enjoy .Edit.. none of you thought it had some Breaking Bad to it ? hm i did
If you’re a fan of Michael Chiklis or just looking for your next binge this is it …lot’s of intrigue to keep you on your toes and enough action to keep you from getting bored. I say 4 out of 5 stars
I watched it because of Chiklis. Yeah, it’s no “The Shield”… but enjoyable enough for a watch. I imagine that they had a lot more that they wanted to do in the season before Covid meant cutting it from 10 episodes down to these 6. Hope the so-so reviews don’t end up meaning that it doesn’t get a Season 2. It started going some really interesting and promising directions toward the end.
this any good? synopsis not ringing any bells of interest -but the actors are good =worth it?
I’d say so, it kept my interest throughout
I binged the whole thing yesterday, because I like Chiklis, that being said…storyline is pretty decent; action is so-so in places, dull in others and wow in a few. Sadly it just kinda drags, very slow moving imho. It has heart, caring situations, definitely backstabbing moments and lots of betrayal. There was harsh realization in it for me as to how some people are forced to live their lives to survive but also how blood being thicker than water doesn’t always hold true…and greed is the root of all evil smh lol. I will continue to watch if it continues to play because of Chiklis, he’s a good actor and the other acting was pretty decent to me mainly because they seemed to use actors who fit the profile of the characters(ethnicity, language) that sells a show to me unlike Wild Mountain Thyme with their heinous accents ugh. And it seems the writers actually did the research on the lay of the land and how the storyline should be played out, meaning it didn’t seem unbelievable, kept me interested throughout, not on the edge of my seat mind you but I enjoyed it. Its not like a Lethal Weapon shoot’em up run’em down 24/7 show, but its not a Barney Miller speed either. As you can see I’m an all over the board kinda old gal with my viewing so take my 2cents worth as you will lol. Its at least a one time watch, and just get through epi #1 then #2 will be easier, not gonna lie #1 was hard to finish but it helps understanding the rest. Enjoy. Thanks to the uploaders also. 4/5 stars
thanks peeps up to ep 04 very well acted - the writing is ok -not great but ok ish
TV for old people.
Any word or info on a season 2?
I’m interested in and hope there’s a second season. I enjoy the storyline and it shows a lot of border reality. These tunnels under the borders are a reality. The writing seems pretty realistic and provides a decent amount of the yips.
Depends on viewer numbers
