Of course the reason I watch TV and Movies is for their over the top unreality .

I agree with you but after this long period of time, doubt we’ll ever see another season!It isn’t often that a tv drama is about the sheriff’s department and how this area of law enforcement is run is so different than a police department. I live in a rather big county and the sheriff’s department has to patrol the whole county with a smaller department than local police departments.
yeah i know how that is with police departments the strange part is we have a police department but they don’t do their jobs so the Sheriffs do some of the work but never around when you need them to enforce a law on road
Deep sigh goes here! Deputy was canceled! I really liked it and not many dramas out there about the Sheriff’s department.
Unfortunately, “Deputy” will not return for a second season.

I think there’s still parts of much of the U.S much like my own country that are decades/half a century behind the rest of the world mentally.
Well, I enjoyed this show, I’m just sad that it was cancelled, I wish that it will get picked up by some network and get started back up again with the same actors, I thought they were all good. 5/5
