At Savage High, John has felt like an outcast for his entire high school career. Tormented by jock strap Tank Coddington III, and pining after the love of his life Robyn, John finds comfort in his only friend, Lola. Together, John and Lola navigate high school, confronting bullies and their inner demons, and slowly but surely, John wins the girl and becomes an outcast no more! …Except something is not right. John’s lived each day of that tacky high school comedy plot over and over and over again, with his entire life resetting after the end of the film. Realizing that he’s in a comedy film, John plots his escape by constructing what he hopes to be a Deus Ex Machina: an Existence Machine that will transplant his character out of the movie and into the real world! |
