Ivan Kyambadde has been since an early age in a constant search for avenues and outlets to express himself creatively, a search that has driven him to film making. His desire has been fueled by an obsession to creatively explore the human condition through film. He has written and directed several short movies, the most recent being Loserpool. Loserpool intended to be a comment on the increasing popularity of the European football leagues, especially The English Premier League, in Africa. The popularity of these foreign football clubs is made even more baffling considering that they represent cities or regions that most Africans have never been to nor have any recognizable tie too and yet their support cuts across age, class status and even gender and borders on fanaticism in some cases. |
