Hanks never disappoints
Only Tom Hanks can do an entire movie with a robot and a dog and make it seem like the most natural thing in the world. Love all his films. He has come up from talking to a basketball (Remember Castaway 2000) Been waiting for this one. Thanks linkers for getting it out there so quickly

It’s Hanks, of course its 5/5 (Don’t go off the ratings if they are low) This was amazing, heartfelt, funny af, with loveable characters all around and a happy little twist on doomsday, robots and just how far we are willing to go for those we love! Watch it!
This movie brought back “Short Circuit” memories, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Totally a Hanks fan, so was even more entertainment. The hubby and I totally recommend it! 5/5 I totally lost it at the end.

was pretty good for the most part , nice , funny and sad in equal parts and then by the end descended into unintentional hilarious stupidity that left we wondering WTF I was watching

the robot sounds a lot like borat..niceeee ruff ruff. Unless the movie takes place the day after the event and the event happened after roads were fixed, I feel like most roads should be really messed up, but nahh the roads here are just sandy lol overall not a bad movie, I’m half way in still waiting for the robot to kill the dog, I’ve no clue if it’ll happen.
Good Tom Hanks movie. Only he can pull a good one human show like this one.

Tom is great as always. The robot is a bit annoying and parts of the story are badly written. EG: When one of the storms come they are advised to “Find shelter”. But they are already in an abandoned theater yet they drive 20 miles or so out of town and try to tie the RV down and wait it out in the RV. It makes no sense. Why didn’t they just stay in the theater? There are quite a few examples similar to this through the movie.The other problem is that they paint AI as if it could be a sentient being with a soul like a human. This is ridiculous.Information and the ability to process what you get does not make for a morals based person with a universal understanding of undeniable truths built into humans. Not the best movie but worth a watch.

I loved it! A post apocalypse Chappie, but done great! Very emotional ending
Hanks was great and so where all the other characters but it seemed unfinished or not fully baked. News of the world was more entertaining. But this had its good fx, it was alright it just needed more something.
This was a good movie I wish they had gone into a little more detail to why the world was like this, I wanted to know more about Finch as person, there were some plot holes but, all in all it was a very good movie. 5/5 for sure.

Wow, just Wow. I felt like the words coming from Finch mouth was Tom Hanks, like he felt a connection with this character. One of the messages that I get from this is, to go out into the world and experience life, to live. No more excuses, As you live and breathe, it will never be too late.
This sucked! Wow it was awful. Yes Hanks is fine, dog is cute, but holy crap, this was a complete snoozfest start to finish.
