Oh wow. Ethan Hawke as Tesla. Jim Gaffigan as Westinghouse. This I have to see.

Loved it! This world still hasn’t caught up!

wow, didnt think you could get away with making a movie so badly in this day and age….at least not un-ironically! This was just terribly produced, arranged, shot….just everything was terribly done, i have seen lifetime movies with better production! I didnt hate the parts that were normal and made remote sense, those were pretty good…BUT…very sparse. Most of the time i was asking myself “WHY!?…WHY would you do that!?”…not in reference to the actions of the characters but the actions of whoever inserted these terrible cutaway narrations, no budget at all effects and imo ruined what was and is still great story about an even greater man. My heart goes out to Mr.Tesla, this is a disparaging smudge on his legacy. Loved the actors but hated the movie…especially the part where it was all of a sudden the 1980s for some incomprehensible reason. Dont waste your time!! Very disappointed by this one, was really excited for it and the longer i watched the worse it got and the worse i felt about giving it any amount of my time.

Haven’t watched this yet but for anyone who is interested ‘The Current War’ is a pretty good depiction of the Edison/Westinghouse/Tesla electricity scandal. https://www.primewire.ag/movie/245592-watch-the-current-war I’ve been waiting for a good Tesla biopic and this doesn’t look like it will be but I’m curious so I will give it a chance.
