In the beginning of WWII, with Britain becoming desperate, Churchill orders his new spy agency — the Special Operations Executive (SOE) — to recruit and train women as spies. Their daunting mission: conduct sabotage and build a resistance. SOE’s “spymistress,” Vera Atkins (Stana Katic), recruits two unusual candidates: Virginia Hall (Sarah Megan Thomas), an ambitious American with a wooden leg, and Noor Inayat Khan (Radhika Atpe), a Muslim pacifist. I like WWII movies and I always like to watch WWII movies made about the European allies. This was a very good movie! I could tell that Stana Katic is not a smoker! She should have spent more time holding and smoking the cigarettes. They were like foreign objects in her fingers. Yes, I notice the little subtle things. But all in all, it was a very good movie. Now off I go to google Virginia Hall & Vera Atkins and learn more about these 2 remarkable women of WWII.

Mediocre.
Everything is bad, from the Hallmark tv movie writing by the lead actress, whose acting is as bad as her writing, to the production value (everyone is running around in brand new clothes… during WWII), accents (not just the supporting cast and extras who all speak their supposed native languages with ridiculous English accents), dialogs.
And worse than that, they also completely messed up the real stories of these real characters for the sake of… I don’t even know, really.

5/5 An amazing movie of such courage. At times hard to believe there was such brave men and women so prepared for such terror for the love of the country. What an indictment this war was on our humanity. Why have we learnt so little Well done the effects left me in awe. Thank you

Most of these women were actually prostitutes.
