Skip Izon is an artisan boat builder and designer who has worked alone for the past 40 years. He learned boat building through correspondence and has gone on to design boats that have won Olympic medals for Canada, Australia and America. He has no family, fame or wealth and lives happily designing and building his wooden boats seven days a week. |
