Cheryl has not spoken to her best friend , Candie, in several years. They were roommates in college and shared many hopes and dreams. When Candie moved to New York City to pursue a modeling career, the two friends drifted apart. An unexpected and mysterious phone call in the middle of the night from Candie asking for help leaves Cheryl startled , confused and frightened. Cheryl’s subsequent search for her friend takes her on a journey of discovery of her friend’s recent life. Cheryl meets a neighbor, Chad, who helps in the search, but doesn’t quite seem to be what he represents himself to be. Cheryl learns that the glamorous life Candie pursued may have led her down a path to unsavory people and deceitful behavior. |
