Newly elected, Coalton’s first female city council president is eager to reverse decades of recession in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Desperate for decorum in the presence of politicians, prospective investors, a provost, and the Mayor’s representative, humor, rage, and bad behavior and prevail, with a profound insight delivered by an unlikely constituent. This film was captured all in one day, running as many as 16 cameras at once each from their own angle. Decisions were therefore deferred to the post-production process, after the cast members were able to return to their other projects, and the set was able to be cleaned out. Time, cost, and logistical efficiencies were profound, and this film is the result of a novel approach.
