One afternoon in a grocer store, Stella and her younger brother Hansel are forced to endure their mother’s inappropriate outbursts - Stella escapes in an imaginary, magical-realist world. But eventually Stella must draws the line showing her mother that she is no longer willing to take the abuse standing still.
