Apple really needs to do some marketing. This movie looks really good and I had no clue it was coming out.
Really enjoyed this. The ending could of been better probably but still really good.
This movie was so good I’m going to have to watch it twice in a row. Well produced. The action in it rocked. Loved the characters - not what I expected. Action/Thriller/mild horror

Well, I enjoyed this flic. It doesn’t take from other movies and is maybe not a new theme, but at least it’s not a carbon copy of previously done ad nauseum. Acting was good, characters were good, the premise (man made monsters) isn’t new, but is different. Weaver as a bit*h? Knew it from the git-go. I’ll probably watch it again just to see what I missed the first time around. It’s very watchable and I give it at least a 7/10.

if you’re good at guessing the entire plot and script from the start AND don’t mind treepeeps and bizarro CGI? Then you’ll be able to kill some time, so you don’t haveta watch the news. Just sayin’?

Damn, that was gooood!! With lots of nice surprise twists—and starring Anya T-J on top of it all.
I love watching flicks like this that I never heard of beforehand that haven’t been hyped to death long before they’re released.
Even better, there wasn’t a bunch of babbling about shitty cam copies cluttering up the comment section before a decent/real copy showed up.

Here’s a bit more information on what this movie is about. “The Gorge” follows two elite operatives, who are stationed in isolated guard towers on opposite sides of a massive, top-secret gorge. Their mission: to protect the world from a mysterious and undisclosed danger hidden within the gorge.” Release date: February 14, 2025.
This won’t win any awards and may not even be thought of a month from now, but it’s a good waste of time on a snowy afternoon; don’t expect a lot and you’ll enjoy it more.

That trailer looks epic.
An easy 3.5 but that’s not saying much. It sure is watchable, for the half-way mark, then all the CGI and extended green-screen fights are awful. This should’ve been edited to 1 hour and 30 min. As it is, it’s tolerable to the crowd that thinks all things CGI are tremendous. It desperately needed backstories and some animitronics. Worth a watch, or maybe two. Sadly, disappointing.

Quite good for a movie that came out of nowhere (no promotion?), better than a lot of the over-hyped slop at the theaters. Could have used a better setup to try to sell the concept to the audience better, I might have appreciated a darker ending, but otherwise surprisingly good. Good cast (ATJ does the cute-punk thing as well as anyone, and you could tell she worked hard on the action parts), decent action-horror story and directing, well worth a watch. 3/5
That horror story ending will be in “The Gorge 2”, it’s in the water.
From the very beginning I was wanting to see more because Drasa is so attractive. When Drasa started writing messages to Levi I felt like flying over to her side just to be with her. Lot’s of action and great acting by all characters especially Bartholomew. Great film I enjoyed it a lot! 5/5

I had the same reservations, but this was so much better than most horror/creature features to come out in the last 4 years. Almost didn’t recognize Sigourney Weaver, hard to believe I used to crush on her she looks like my naan now lmao. Great movie.

C’mon! That was pure romantic movie :D and maybe little bit of adventure and action. No horror to be found! Not bad, but I’ve expected different stuff. On the other side my husband enjoyed it :D 6,5/10

Good moving. Great action and acting was excellent by all. It was a different role for Sigorney that’s for sure. It had some remenents of Annhilation, in my opinion. It’s good for a one time watch. Mostly predictable. The ending was exactly what I was hoping for

What’s not to love? It’s a love story sitting at the edge of the world and over that edge is hell.
This was a welcome change to the drab tv/movie lineup over the last several months. It was nothing epic, but it was a decent watch. The story reminded me of the Firefly - Serenity movie with Nathan Fillion. It is worth taking a peek at.
I found it interesting that Sigourney’s character looked a lot like Hillary Clinton. Even some of her mannerisms. One time watch - nothing new or special. Dumb/cliched premise of creating “super soldiers” by merging plant life and human DNA. I though Miles and Sigouney had great on-screen chemistry.

This is an example of stupid people. They can communicate with signs. So, why didn’t they discuss the weird creatures they just shot down around 40 minutes into the movie? They instead go about business like the alien creatures were nothing. I would have left and told my superiors to go screw themselves. Drop nukes into the gorge. Duh.
Overall decent not the best ever and not to bad either. A good entertaining flick
