In this documentary film,there is no political conflicts, no shocking or fantastic stories or persons.It is only a record of parts of some people’s daily life. When making this documentary, I was always willing to cite as opening credits the words by Alexander Grothendieck —- “Everyone of us has a chance to rediscover what ‘discovery’ does mean to us.” But finally, I gave up this idea, because I do not think I have got an exact understanding of this sentence, although I have always been trying for it. |
