It’s 1950 London. Aspiring screenwriter Rob submits a script to a film producer who reads it and gives him some vicious criticism. This results in Rob becoming demoralised and determined to give up writing. Four weeks later, he sees a review of a movie produced by the arrogant film producer. The article is scathing and describes the movie as truly awful. Rob realises that the producer isn’t the expert that he portrayed himself as and that he was wrong to be discouraged by a man with such little talent. |
