Set in the idyllic postcard landscape of Ireland, Paddy is the story of a day in the life of a comic (stereotype) Irishman, who lives in a cottage on a hill. On this particular day he receives a grant for growing shamrocks. He decides to go to town and spend it in the local pub. On his journey to and from the pub, Paddy encounters all things Irish, with hilarious results. Paddy presents a humorous insight into the many facets of Ireland (old and new). |
