Christopher Nolan never disappoints and you can see why he was pushing hard for this to be released in theatres over streaming during covid. The action was on another level and they made the tired trope of time travel unique. I would never have guessed the Protagonist was Denzel Washington’s son until you hear his voice and notice the strong similarities in acting style.
With the ratings this movie had, I expected a lot more from it. It was a cool concept, just didn’t have that “wow” factor. Rated 3/5
Movie reminds me of Inception. Same kinda thought process. Was not bad at all.
Armed with only one word — Tenet — and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.

I have a good pair of headphones, and that helped a ton compared to what it sounded like w/o them. Plus, I used doodwatch to rewind 10 seconds if I needed to hear anything again. Mostly when the Indian women is speaking.
New copy but sound quality still not great. I hope the next copy will be better.
Apparently the movie itself has bad sound quality. People are complaining about it after watching it in theaters.

I give this a 5/5. At first I was kind questioning the lack of back story behind the protagonist but the way it was ended made the mystery understandable. I know Nolan doesn’t really do trilogies but this would be a nice exception. Since we know how it already ends, seeing the story unfold from the beginning/ end (whatever way you look at it) could be cool.

Any idea when the Bluray or DVD quality might be available?
As of November 6th, Tenet’s US DVD and Blu-ray release date is NOW Set for December 15th. Digital HD from Amazon Video and iTunes is also estimated about that same time. However, some international services may have it sooner, meaning earlier online arrival is possible.

wouldve been better , the meaning of this plot is abit complex , do they mean that both reality and conscience are viewed for the viewer to understand or what > and what the hell 2020 after record , just clean the audio with audio cleaner, after that recompile the audio to the movie and fix duration and timestamp with the visual thats all.
Went to see it in Imax and I just had to rewatch it, Fuck this movie is quite the trip! It’s for people who want an intrigue, a story with multiple steps and angles, no time to think just gogogo because it’s about to blow. Anyway, have fun and this movie makes perfect sense, no plot holes, you just dumb if think there’s plot holes, AMA bitch

Nolan’s ambition and execution are unrivaled. This movie exceeded my expectations (I didn’t really love the trailers). I’ve never seen anything like this. I have to see this in IMAX. Trying to come up with a direct comparison is difficult, it’s almost like a combination of Fury Road, Mission Impossible, Dark (Netflix) with a dash of Fringe. The biggest issue is sound mixing regarding dialog (I imagine that will get fixed for bluray given the universal frustration). Fix that, and it’s a 9/10. As is, 8/10. An awesome plot centric film. Won’t be for everyone, I imagine.
12 monkeys have u heard about it ? movie and tvshow , well this plot execution is parallel to 12monkeys delivery but into another analogy somehow , forexample when bacteria can be scientific or can be literal monsters and ur fighting it in another verse how ur body reacts they living creatures and have a life of their own. so in the end Nolan works is all about his childhood starting point where he was fed good knowledge and was feared from the bullies who lies and cheated , so his world of imagination grew vast with all the anxieties that he has no practical feel of but with linking his reality as close as he gets with a practical feeling.

I’ll absolutely be watching this again once it’s a Blu-ray copy!!! I’ve racked my brain this entire movie and for the life of me I can’t understand how people couldn’t follow this story Lol This was boring? I think the cover poster for this movie could be better .Only one star is recognizable to me and movies like this should have better cover poster to draw more interest .This was a good movie better than I thought it was going to be .It was really exciting even though it was a little hard to grasp some of the films logic.This guy should be the next James Bond to bad hes an American actor.
Blu ray version doesn’t release until 12/15. So I guess I’ll be waiting till then. Looking forward though

Diatopic story telling. Very intelligent but unassuming. Timeline movies are repetitive unlike this one that engages the story from a new point of view. The actors bring across a seriousness needed to tell the story to keep it in line with the new interpretation of time. Excellent movie and body of work from Washington and Pattison. I agree with others about the sound and I will be anxiously waiting for the DVD copy.

Best Film I have seen in a long time, a whole new level of intensity and mind blowing experience, the Writer, Director, and Actor/Actress are exceptional, don’t read the spoilers for they will just do that, SPOIL this action packed from go that will blow your mind throughout the whole 150 minutes… 5/5 stars Should receive 9.9/10 and many awards, just for the creativity and structuring of it all, let alone keeping me on the edge of my seat rocking, swaying, and dodging. Well done to all.

He’s trying to find something, you don’t know what it is, and they expect you to just be intrigued by that the entire movie, I guess. It was an okay movie, the action sequences were very unique, but that’s about as much as can be said. No one will barely remember this movie ever existed except through pure happenstance in 10 to 20 years.
Been looking forward to this one. Will wait till a better copy. The actors look amazing in the trailer.
New TS version. Now on my third try to watch this movie. Still the sound has too much bass, but i made it thru the 3rd time. Tenet is a lot of work to watch and understand. I will try to watch maybe a fourth time in a couple of months.
I enjoyed the movie. I was a bit confusing because there was a lot of back and forth but I can definitely say that you don’t know which way the movie is going to go. When you think you have it figured out, it changes lol. Great action movie. 4/5 for me. Enjoy!
Music for the masses.
Man oh man. This has solidified Christopher Nolan as a magnificent Director and Writer in my mind now. His films are so original that even if you might not like the plot you have to respect it. So well balanced, ironically so, you’ll see. Very enjoyable and will need to rewatch it to catch all the nuance’s like most of his films. 9/10
Boring , pointless and over complicated , Tries to hard to be clever and fails everywhere , The whole point of the premise is pointless . Inception was a reasonably good premise ruined in the same way but atleast that film had a good idea behind it . The strange thing is you see the twists coming a mile away they are the most obvious and straightforward things about this film yet I suspect that was not the intention. Of course there will be many who rave about this film for the sake of it Looper is far better and that film wasnt great

The premise is stupid. Time inversion won’t work. The fights were repetitive. The lead actor has zero charisma. He was cold but not in a 007 kind of ice in his veins cold… just a bad actor cold. Definitely did not live up to the hype.

Christopher NOLAN has finally run out of ideas. He now has to resuscitate concepts that are twenty years’ old in order to keep his career going, rather than retire from being a creative himself and then move on to produce the works of the next generation of film directors.
The rampant egomania and intellectual arrogance here is emotionally depressing and distinctly un-entertaining as we witness an above-average talent reduced to hack work.
The characterisation is poor, the ideas ridiculous and the cast not always well-chosen. But the biggest problem is a script which gives little for the actors to do to enable them to breathe life into their characters. This lack of any possibility for audience identification leaves us with a psychologically-barren spectacle which occurs for no really-valid reason.
A waste of time.
Hmmm not his best work that’s for sure. I do love the thoughts about time and space and future. But yeah it just felt too slow at first. It was at the last hours that the movie really started for me.
Besides the utter whateverness of “inverted bullets”, what I did find actually inverted (as in ‘ridiculously backwards’) is how the brilliant idea [no spoiler] to keep the improbable dangerous stuff away from evil hands is supposed to work. 👎

The action sequences were well executed, but that’s about as much as can be said.
No proper backstories to the characters.
The dialogue delivery was wayy to fast as if it was on 2x speed.
Editing of the scenes was really crappy.
The protagonist ,with exception for the fight scenes in which he was pretty good, was dull and expressionless when interacting with other characters.
Zero chemistry between the leading lady and the protagonist.
Robert Pattinson and Dimple Kapadia were quite good.
