WARRIORS: My Daddy Left Me Too follows John, a man reaching 30, on a journey to become a better father. Recently separated from his wife, John is insecure about his capabilities to be a strong male role model for his son. After dropping him off at his friend’s house for the weekend, John travels to the distant wilderness of a Toronto suburb and begins his initiation into the Father’s Wild Warrior Wilderness Brotherhood Retreat. Chief Dave, the leader of the tribe, puts John through grueling trials to test his warrior-ness. John must decide between his real-life nurturing role and the gendered fantasy of the retreat.
