When proud British soldier Shaun Emery's conviction for a murder in Afghanistan is successfully overturned due to flawed video evidence, he begins to plan for his life as a free man with his six year old daughter. However, when damning CCTV footage emerges from an incident in London, it isn't long before Shaun finds himself fighting for his freedom once more, only with lies, betrayal and corruption spreading further than he ever could have imagined. With DI Rachel Carey drafted in to investigate in what could be a career-defining case, she must discover if there is more to the shocking evidence than first meets the eye. Rachel will soon learn that the truth is merely a matter of perspective - before deciding what hers is. |

This is a must see if you like these kinds of crime shows. Why is it that countries from Europe put out way better shows than Canada/US? I know Canadian shows USED to be bad but they’re not anymore. Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the UK, Spain, France etc. have amazing story lines and the actors aren’t all skinny or in great shape and beautiful. They’re more realistic and I like that too.
I like the Capture, good Brit drama.
But don’t say there are no good US shows, there are a ton of US shows that are very good and probably better than this - right now there is Power, Mr Mercedes, Mayans, The Deuce, Ray Donovan, Ozark a ton of others on US TV - I can list 50 or so…………..
Some great ones on NetFlix, have you seen “Unbelievable” ??? How about HandMaids tale?
So don’t say a few Brit shows are “way better”
I agree about Canada - all crap but they have to produce Canadian content so they put out amatuerish stuff, the best cdn actors go to the US
I didn’t say there were none. I said I feel they’re better for the most part and I guess it depends on what you like to view. Many American shows are remakes of European or South Korean shows, i.e. The Bridge, The Killing, The Good Doctor, etc. I watch a ton of American shows although none of the ones you mentioned because they’re not to my taste. And Canada’s are getting better all the time. So please don’t say they’re crap as you didn’t want me to say the US ones are crap which I didn’t say. :) Just saying!
Also, The Handmaid’s Tale was written by Canadian author Margaret Atwood and is filmed primarily in Toronto.
your both rite…. but what i would say is i wish they would stop copy catting our shows ie we make ma brilliant series and the yanks do there own version which always isnt the same and not as good, and before mikeym says anything there gave been LLLLOOOAAADDDSSS that have been copied…but in general we both have good shows 😊😊😊😊😊😊

Just finished the 2nd season and it was good but at times it was hard to keep things straight. Will there be a 3rd season? I hope so!
Official Trailer for The Capture Here
‘’The Capture’’ will do yr head in if yu already a bit worried about cctv [british too]
some familiar faces , and superlative acting/filming etc
thoroughly enjoyed this highly reccomend it to all 4/5
Exciting news for us fans, there has now been some promising news which suggests production listings hint that cameras could begin rolling on new episodes as soon as this spring. Nothing is known about what a new series could entail, but it’s strongly suspected Holliday Grainger will return as DCI Rachel Carey.
If you liked Person of Interest you’ll love this.
I am keeping my fingers crossed for a 3rd season. But…..Ben Chanan, the writer behind BBC technological thriller The Capture, has offered an update on the series’s future, admitting that it may be some time away from seeing a third season…..deep sad sigh goes here.
well, the drama is back but what is about this site !

I’ve noticed that British dramas are rated a lot higher than I would rate them. I didn’t like this at all. In fact, most British Tv is boring to me.
