This show should of been as big as handmaids tale
A surprisingly good series so far (just finished season 2). I was worried that it would join the other melodramatic oft anachronistic in sensibilities line of period dramas in recent years. It might be guilty of those in brief moments but overall it is a strong drama about the power-play of 18th century brothels and the elite who visit them. Good cast and unexpectedly good music.
Dang! WE won’t get a 4th season of Harlots! It has been axed and I liked this quirky little drama a lot! Saw a very young Lesley Manville in a 1990’s episode of Silent Witness and I mean young! She is actually a redhead.
This show is amazing!!!
This was excellent. The last two seasons especially had fantastic writing.
