A dark comedy about a USA war veteran seeking redemption and a new life from his actions in the war and later as an assassin for hire through becoming an actor in Los Angeles. Much of the humour is drawn from the unusual perspectives of the characters and the deliberately awkward situations of violence. Few of the characters have any depth but those that do carry the show well. Certainly entertaining, funny, and even touching at times.
Bravo on their Emmy nominations! Whilst lacking in some ways (in my opinion of course) one can see they deserve to be recognised.
to be honest i love how the story rolled out it wasn’t as predictable a we would have presumed !
I tought season three was the end and didint think they could write up a good season 4 with
where it was left off in season 3 but they manage to really pleasantly surprise me it was really a good
I give this one a 4/5 for dark comendy/drama.
LoL, the ending of 2-4 is epic.
not as good as “Mr Inbetween” (now that’s a hitman story) imo -but still has a good storyline and decent acting the juxtapositions are almost comical at times roll on season 3
The only negative about the show is which is not a fault of the show itself is the recapping of the previous episode or episodes, it is so annoying, i already know what happened i dont need to know again what i already know about what happened. but i guess its because the humans that watch tv today have short memory spans and need to be reminded about what happened 10 minutes ago every time so that having already happened makes sure that their minds are quickly reset to know what they already know has not happened but did happen. Great Job, Bill Hader, funny and serious at the same time, awesome show!
I think they do it to annoy you specifically. If we couldn’t whine on the net about inane things, where would we be?
oh you are breaking my heart
