Based on a new poem by the same title written by the director: a lonely old widower is utterly bored and seems to have definitely lost his appetite. He spends his time sitting in the usual spot near the widow and walking around the house. From his daughter he receives loving messages in the form of drawings. After a routine long day he receives a visit by his son-in-law. The young man cheerfully enters the house carrying new food, but is soon angered by the old man’s unwillingness to collaborate… |
