Magna Gonzales falls in love with a religious missionary man after meeting him in a cafe in London. She marries him a year later. They both relocate to East LA where her husband becomes a pastor. Together they bond and grow together religiously getting very involved with the community. She administrates the church and conducts bible studies to children. 25 years later, a woman, seeking redemption at the church, confronts Magna by reminding her of all the sexual activities they both shared as prostitutes at a brothel in London. |
