“The Week” tells the story, as the title suggests, of seven days. Each day has its own main character which is named after the day. There are seven different stories which are not connected to each other. Montag (Monday) is a young, hopeless man without a job. This monday he saves a woman from being raped… Dienstag (Tuesday) wants to run away from our hectic, commercial world and tries to find his way in the woods… Mittwoch (Wednesday) is a drug dealer who wants to do his last job… Donnerstag (Thursday) is homeless and lives on the street. All his hope is gone until a girl comes by… Freitag (Friday) works in a movie theater and secretly loves her co-worker Peter… Samstag (Saturday) is left by his girlfriend Gianna and now for the first time realizes how much he has loved her… Sonntag (Sunday) tells us what happened to the remaining characters and draws a conclusion…
