Obscura portrays the struggle to escape an oppressive environment through Arthur, a medieval prisoner locked away in a dungeon with a single unreachable window. It is the manifestation of when we are taken from the light, taken from the meaning we were desperately in search for, taken by the hands that watch us in the shadows. We find ways of coping within. Captured on super 16mm and super 8mm, this short film is the directing debut of Tyler W. Davis. |
