‘A Quiet Hero’ is a documentary tracing the influence of Howard Ogawa - a Japanese-American dental technician. From his Little Tokyo dental laboratory, Howard extended aid and teachings to a generation of Asian-American (and other minority) dental students facing prejudice in post-WWII Los Angeles. Told through the eyes and hearts of his mentees, ‘A Quiet Hero’ demonstrates the power of one man’s subtle grace to resonate through the lives of so many. |
