A psychiatrist arrives for her weekly session with a very disturbed young lady who has been placed in psychiatric care at her families behest. The girl is waiting in her office having made herself at home playing with a doll and a wooden house she has made from twigs. The girl usually seeks to avoid direct eye contact and communicates by looking into a mirror’s reflection. This day the girl is unusually thoughtful and insightful during the session. Whilst undergoing some deep processing and the question of nature vs nurture, the psychiatrist becomes uncharacteristically uncomfortable as a shocking secret is revealed. |
