‘Pagoda Boys’ is an investigation into the intricate politics of contemporary Cambodian society. The Pagoda Boys Association beats up protesters critical of the Prime Minister, while using their name as a ruse usually associated with boys living in the Pagodas of Cambodia. This film examines who the Pagoda Boys are, how they operate and the impact they have had on virtually eliminating freedom of assembly in Cambodia. |
