A short film that was smoothly edited to create an ‘ever-looping’ storyline that aesthetically coincides with real quotes from real people who experienced Sierra Leone’s civil war (West Africa). The message is one of hope and transformation, brought about by organizations that give freely without hesitation. The entire collaborative project was conceived and created on a zero dollar budget; all film-makers, journalists, and composers generously donated their time and expertise in hopes of broadcasting this powerful message. The narrator is a 9-year-old Sierra Leone boy, Amara Mansaray, whose life was saved by one of these organizations. He is seen at 2:37 in the film. |
