“Mojado” details a sexual violation that occurs between a white immigration officer and a young Mexican immigrant. The film traces a typical evening between Emilio, a waiter, and his eight-year-old daughter, Carmina. Each night it’s their ritual to count his tips. On one of these typical evenings, Carmina finds a bill with the word “wetback” written on it which triggers him to remember an unsettling experience from his past. |
