Details:

A look at the Canadian electoral process as illustrated in the federal election campaign of 1962. The film follows the leaders of the two major parties, John Diefenbaker (PC) and Lester B. Pearson (Liberal) through the six weeks of the campaign, observing the evolution of their techniques and the refinement of issues. Includes commentary by the chairmen of the national parties Allistar Grosart (PC) and Keith Davey (Liberal). The program takes its title from a Biblical quotation used by Diefenbaker on his final telecast before the election: “He who would be chiefest among you shall be the servant of all”.
