This 10-part series of short documentaries features the voices of daring youth from across the country who are going to court to compel the government to protect our atmosphere, in trust, for future generations. In TRUST Alaska, meet youth plaintiff Nelson Kanuk, a 17-year old whose story focuses on the problems people living in the Arctic endure because winter is coming late. From increased erosion due to permafrost melt, to increased flooding due to the warmer temperatures, to intensified storms because the sea ice forms later in the season. All this affects our northern communities who are losing their homes, culture and way of life.
