A mothers bereavement at the loss of her mother shows a dark side to her opinion of her child. The lack of comfort shown by the mother causes the child to explore her grandmothers house, specifically her room. Upon entering she proceeds to play with her grandmothers items, her jewelery, her make up and her perfume. Back in the wake a mysterious woman hidden in the corner becomes aware. The little girls fascinations with her grandmother’s items is disrupted by a sound, something is inside the wardrobe. It communicates with her, it tries to convince the little girl that it is her grandmother and that she has been trapped inside and needs to get out. At the point of opening the door the mother appears, scolding the child for interfering with her mothers items, that by rights are hers now. Upon throwing the child out of the room the mother is lured to the wardrobe. She opens the doors. The thing that has been trying to get out is now free to leave and makes the mother its first victim. Back inside the wake, the child now alone, sees the photograph of the grandmother who has passed, except it is no longer the grandmother but is instead her own mother.
