‘Ten and a Half Hours Later’ is a twenty one minute film about 7 strangers whose paths cross everyday but without any conscious awareness. Over a period of ten and a half hours their lives become inextricably linked. The film was born out of a 3 night, 10 1/2 hour, workshop for adults developed by Beverley Jordan to nurture performance skills. Laban and characterization skills were used to develop 7 characters. These characters were then placed into an original piece of theatre called ‘Ten and a Half Hours Later’. This was then further developed into an experimental film project in conjunction with Norwich film maker Tracy G. Williams who was spellbound after seeing a performance at the end of the course. |
