“The Joy of a Home” is a portrait of the daily life of my grandparents. It is an open window to their home, the place where they keep their memories and where they enjoy the autumn of the life. My intention in making this film was to show this small world, located in the city of Oporto, where we can still find traces of rurality and a kind of life that is not so common in the cities. This is a film about the people who guided me in my first steps and the house where I lived in my childhood. |
