Most of us know that, in 2014, Brazil held one of the biggest sport events of the earth: the FIFA World Cup. What fewer people know is that, few months before that, another World cup was held there: The Street Child World Cup. 230 boys and girls aged between 12 to 16 years, from 19 different countries and from very complicated social environments, gathered in the beautiful and vibrant city of Rio de Janeiro to play football, meet and have fun. Zebras show the journey of the kids of the Argentinian National Soccer Team and the amazing experience they lived a world away from their homes, trying achieve their hopes and dreams while facing their limitations and fears. |
