I liked the message, but that’s about all that made me keep watching. I guess this movie was successful in being cringeworthy, just like social media is, but the dialogue between characters in some scenes were just…bad, especially in the car. And some of the stuff that happened with the main character was just implausible and there’s still one lose end!!!! What about Uno?!!
that was a dope movie. the social media posts going on throughout the movie could have been better though.
I actually know somebody who is obsessed with building a following online doing podcasts and posting vids reviewing stuff. It got worse during quarantine and like this character he isn’t famous and his opinions fall into the void. Kept thinking about it this whole movie and how social media can drive people crazy in various ways. I liked the message it portrayed and how they made the graphic moments more funny. The complete disconnection of Kurt from the real world to please people on the virtual world helped that because his lunacy was comical at times. Cautionary tale because there’s already tons of vids with people snitching on themselves trying to get clout doing illegal activities.
I assume it was supposed to be really cringe either that the writers suck. its a good idea but the dialog is awful.
Made it to 28:00 and had enough. 1/10
LOL! All I got to say! And David Arquette! Now I want to watch scream.
I saw nothing funny in this movie but simply a warning sign to not do everything asked to do on social media, I usually get one to three views on my YouTube videos that I post but would not got to those limits of the movie to get more, maybe that was what was supposed to be funny in this movie knowing that no one in their right mind would really go as far, anyways now that I think of it there was a part I found funny but I will not mention it because of spoilers, hopefully you will see it too when it happens. It’s probably dark humour but hope you also see what I’m talking about.
this was crazy

Great movie! Not an entirely surprising ending, but the premise of the story is new and creepy. Joe Keery does a great job playing an awkward and attention-seeking “social media influencer”, showing an eerie change in character as he pushes the stunts further and further for views. You’ll definitely second-guess your next uber ride after watching this one.
This was like a high budget Lifetime movie. The only good parts were whomever wrote what the fictional viewers were commenting on Kurt’s livestream.
This movie had the potential to be a good, dark social commentary, but it failed miserably with how boring and lame it was.
This should’ve been PG-13, it was so tame.
Also, that horrible shrew from Vanderpump Rules, the one that calls herself the female Tupac, Lauren from Utah, was in this, and so was Ariana Grande’s annoying ass brother.
