While flying to his father’s funeral in rural Appalachia, an intense storm causes Marquis (Omari Hardwick) to lose control of the plane carrying him and his family. He awakens wounded, alone and trapped in Ms. Eloise’s (Loretta Devine) attic, who claims she can nurse him back to health with the Boogity, a Hoodoo figure she has made from his blood and skin. Unable to call for help, Marquis desperately tries to outwit and break free from her dark magic and save his family from a sinister ritual before the rise of the blood moon. |

This was a pleasant surprise to watch on Halloween because I never heard of this coming out. Love Omari Hardwick and Loretta Devine starring and kept me in suspense with the voodoo Misery theme.
This show was awesome!! Nothing’s perfect, but I was pleasantly entertained!!
Not bad at all, way better than the the other newer horror movies.

Watchable …. Mediocre acting from the siblings and a bit off with directing with some of the scenes. However, still a watchable movie. I would appreciated and recommended a better climax.
My thoughts exactly, Shadow. Some genuinely creepy bits - and that scene where he finds out how his foot is damaged - is let down by its pacing and frankly anti-climatic climax.
Well Damn, this is why he quit Power. It was good but they dragged out some parts that didnt need to be and shortened the good parts. I did like it but the story could have been told a lil better.
That was some CRAZY s**t! Great movie…def. must see for horror fans & watchers.

pretty good, worth the watch but, I so wanted him to go all law abiding citizen on every single one of the townspeople. He deserved more vindication than that, there is no way after what he went through he wouldn’t have eviscerated all of them. On a second note it would have been interesting to see the aftermath, as in what the FBI would have done…her doll would been put in an evidence locker or supernatural experts would have tortured her to figure out the science behind it. The aftermath alone could be a sequel.
