Sometimes people have to die. Will’s wife, Ava, slowly edges towards death, after a head on collision with another car has left her in a coma. Sitting by her bedside for months leaves Will feeling hopeless and defeated, but a family heirloom could hold the power to bring her back. A decrepit old pocket watch. Handed down through generations, it contains the power to travel through time, but there’s a catch. Time travel isn’t easy. Getting ripped out of one time and place and dumped into another takes its toll, and every time Will goes back brings him closer to his own death. Will travels back, but no matter what he does he can’t change history. The outcome is always the same. Will’s father, John, warns him that the watch could take away more than it could give, but even as the rigours of time travel take their toll, Will still refuses to let go. All he sees is his love for Ava. |
