When Porter McGraff, a war-weary Army engineer stationed in Afghanistan, receives an unexpected, four-day pass from his commanding officer, he wastes no time, hopping a transport to Europe with his crude side-kick, Jackson Offenbach, reluctantly in tow. His plan is to surprise his girlfriend, beautiful photographer Agnes Walker, at her first art show in the heart of Paris. He arrives with a mere 24 hours to hopefully cement their oft-discussed marriage plans and still get back to Kandahar base… Armed with a diamond ring, he arrives in the ‘City of Light,’ a fish out of water with little time to spare. He easily succeeds in his mission, but, as it turns out, she has a few pretty good surprises of her own. |
