John is a seemingly average young man going through the breakup of an average relationship. Little does he know that he is part of a mainstream romantic-comedy screenplay being made by a stubborn and talentless writer. Not wanting to take part in the story presented to him, John tries to live his own life despite the writer’s attempts to get his characters back into the original plot. |
