The Camp de Vacances du Lac Simon is a Jesuit organization, founded in 1956 and associated to the Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf of Montreal, Canada. It offers the opportunity to 42 boys from the underprivileged neighborhood of Pointe Saint-Charles to spend two weeks far from the city’s problems. Every counselor is volunteering. Shot in the summer of 2013, the movie is divided in three acts : the beginning, the middle and the end. Throughout the movie, we see how the kids spend their days, the efforts put in place to make the camp happen and how it evolves as the weeks go by. |
