The story follows a profoundly-deaf social outcast named Hick, who has a hard time fitting in a world he feels unwelcome in. He tries to make several attachments, including one with a sweet hearing lady, and becomes obsessed with her. After failing to win her heart, he turns to darker methods to get what he want True Love and Acceptance. |
