Beets and Beans: Living and Dying with Hospice attempts to dispel some myths abut what it means to work with a Hospice provider. The video interweaves the rich journey of patients, caregivers, and family members, at different points in their interactions with Hospice services as their lives are touched by Hospice. The story of Hospice is everyone’s story. The documentary features a diverse cast of all ages, interviewed in their homes or Hospice settings. Moving and credible interviews supported by true life events show that the Hospice movement can revolutionize our views of dying. While making the documentary, producer Sue Perlgut became a volunteer at her local Hospice. Her surprising journey is part of this video. |
